Install Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on HTC HD2

Posted on Jul 17 2012 - 8:12am by Pradeep Bhandari

Seriously developers are going crazy everyday more than 2 devices are getting Jelly Bean ported, so as the HTC HD2. Developer at XDA-Developer has ported Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on HTC HD2 from Nexus 7 and it is in Pre-Alpha stage. You can Install Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on HTC HD2 but there are few things that are not working like camera, browser works but the display is messed up, errors while installing few apps from Google Play store, Google Now. But the core is working very well like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, video playback, USB Mass storage and calls. But it’s not a daily use ROM, so you need to wait till the most of the development finishes up. While installing Jelly Bean on HTC HD2 you need

  • 250MB space in System,
  • And 5MB cache

And flash in recovery (if you don’t know what are you doing then don’t try); if you find any problem while installing on your device or having any question then jump to the thread of XDA-Developer Forum. Download link and thread link are provided below and share your experience with us.
If you own a One X, then check How to install Jelly Bean on HTC One X.

My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find almost all of your
post’s to be what precisely I’m looking for. Does one offer guest writers to
write content in your case? I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on a few of the subjects you write about here. Again, awesome website!
